The Apostle Paul made an emphatic statement in the first chapter of the book of Corinthians when he stated "...we preach Christ crucified...". The point of the statement was not that the great Apostle merely preached, but that he preached Christ and not just Christ alone, but Christ crucified. This is the premiere work of our Lord in His earthly sojourn.
