Refuge Youth Ministry
1) a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.
2) something providing shelter.
We at Christ Unveiled realize that it is the ages of 7 – 14 where many of the first bad decisions are made that can potentially impact young lives for the next decade or more. During these important years where teenage pregnancies can occur, drug and alcohol addictions can begin and the dangers of life can take hold of our young people. Our answer is Refuge.
When young people have strong Christian values instilled within them, they have choices against many of the vices currently destroying so many young lives. To know Christ and nurture a relationship with Him, provides choices other than secular society offer. Refuge can make a significant difference in the lives of those who participate.
When We Meet
Refuge ministers to youth ages 7 to 14 each Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m. while adults gather in the main worship room.
Our young people are supervised as they assemble 15 minutes prior to the start of the service to fellowship, play games and build christian friendships.
What We Teach
Refuge seeks to help kids understand the bible and to grasp how they can practically apply scriptural truth to their own lives. We want our young people to be able to make moral judgments without parents and leaders forcing them to do what is correct. A relationship with Christ gives them the tools and ability to grow into stable young adults.
