God created us to bear His image and reflect His character in the earth. Though sin marred that image, through Christ we are being restored, transformed, and prepared to represent Him with greater authority and purpose.
Faith is not proven in comfort, but through the fire of trials. Though testing may bring sorrow, God uses it to refine our faith so it may result in praise, glory, and honor when Christ is revealed.
Jesus made it clear that the promise of the Father is the Holy Spirit. The infilling of the Spirit is alive and available to every believer who simply asks and receives God’s gift by faith.
